Portfolio conferences for First through Sixth Grade students have started and will continue during the month of February. Students have been working hard to get ready to share their learning with their parents. Creating a portfolio and sharing it with the important people in a student’s life is an important learning experience. Reflecting about your own work and learning is challenging at any age or stage of life. It takes a lot of courage to be the center of attention and formally present accomplishments and challenges to parents and teachers. This is a time students, families, and teachers celebrate together the learning and progress that has taken place during the first half of the year and make goals for the second half.
